Car Air conditioning service

Manufacturers recommend that the car air conditioning system has a full service every two years. This includes;

• Recovering the gas in the system then fully re-charge with correct amount of gas
• Replacing receiver drier
• Replacing pollen filter
• Apply anti-bacterial treatment

Initially the system undergoes a vacuum test for leakage of air conditioning refrigerant gas. The refrigerant is then totally replaced with the correct amount of gas for your vehicle. Ultraviolet dye is added to the system to allow us to identify any leaks. With older cars the car air conditioning systems are filled with R12 refrigerant which is no longer available we therefore replace this gas with the modern environmentally acceptable gas.

Air conditioning refrigerant re-gas

The refrigerant is  totally replaced with the correct amount of gas for your vehicle. Ultraviolet dye is added to the system to allow us to identify leaks. With older cars the air conditioning systems are filled with R12 refrigerant which is no longer available and so we offer a Retrofit which then allows the latest gas to be used. We also deodorise the system, to remove unpleasant smells we can disinfect your car air conditioning system killing bacteria and fungus.

Air Con Repair

If your car air conditioning is not as cold as it should be or is not working at all then you may have a small leak which can usually be repaired. It could be a more serious problem but rest assured that air conditioning faults are diagnosed and our charges are confirmed with the customer before we proceed with the repair or replacement.
